Bridge Enhancement at Nash Early College High School
All scholars will read, write, think, speak, and collaborate in every class, every day. Research-based protocols (such as those associated with Dr. Archer's Explicit Instruction) will ensure every scholar participates in the learning process and also aid in supporting the components of RWTT. The Focus Notes process will be used in every class, and scholars will be expected to use a planner to record assignments and tasks. Bridge Enhancement is designed to support scholars on the path to college and career success. Every scholar's schedule includes Bridge Enhancement, so they will receive individual and additional academic, social, and emotional support, which will help them succeed in honors-level high school courses as well as college classes while enrolled at Nash Community College. Scholars will visit college campuses and hear from college admissions officers and ECHS Alumni while preparing to attend a four-year college or university upon graduating from Nash Early College High School. The Nash Early College High School family believes every scholar has the power to:
Strive: We will give our best every day.
Overcome: We will face challenges with courage.
Advocate: We will use our voice to champion what is right.
Represent: We will demonstrate Eagle pride every day.
