ECHS Application

NRM Early College Application Information for the 2026-2027 School Year!

ECHS is an application-based school. The application window closed February 20, 2026, at 4:00 PM for the 2026-2027 school year. Applications are limited to Nash County residents who are rising 9th- and 10th-graders. Applications are scored using a district rubric. Per NC General Statute 115C.238.55, enrollment at each grade level is limited to 100 scholars. Applications will be processed through a third-party lottery system if the qualified applicant pool exceeds 100 scholars.

Once the lottery system is complete, scholars will be notified by email only that they are eligible to attend ECHS, contingent on their individual interview. Please review the application dates and details below:

Applications to the Nash Early College High School (Nash-ECHS) for the 2026-2027 school year has closed for the year. Thank you for your interest in our program! We appreciate all applicants and look forward to welcoming our new scholars.
